Vogliamo costruire uno sguardo nuovo sulle città, sul loro patrimonio e sulla loro vita, vogliamo farlo attraversandole, con i nostri corpi e con le nostre idee. Vorremo invitare i cittadini a passeggiare insieme, come rito collettivo e pratica estetica, vogliamo farlo coinvolgendo le scuole, le associazioni e l’università per ricostruire una visione comune della grande ricchezza del nostro territorio.
Ogni passeggiata sarà accompagnata da un gruppo di artisti, scrittori, musicisti ed esperti della città per una passeggiata che vorrebbe aiutare ad avere nuovi occhi e a guardare la città, i suoi abitanti, le sue tradizioni vecchie e nuove in modo diverso e a scovare il “bello” nei luoghi più impensati. Troppo spesso corriamo attraverso la città, scappando da un posto all’altro pensando solo al modo più veloce per raggiungere l’obiettivo e non a quanto di bello c’è lungo il percorso.
Nomicosecittà si propone di innescare nei partecipanti una riflessione sull’idea del “bello” nella sua accezione più ampia così da porre l’attenzione tanto sui tesori storici delle cittò quanto sulle sue più contemporanee conseguenze. Il passeggiare attraverso la città diventerà, allora, un viaggiare attraverso i secoli e la storia dell’umanità che è sempre uguale e sempre in evoluzione, un muoversi tra le differenti geografie della città e tra le diverse nazionalità che la abitano fino ad accorgersi di quanto numerosi possono essere gli sguardi su ciò che l’uomo fa, sia che si tratti di manufatti che di eventi.
“Nomicosecittà” per essere orgogliosi e consapevoli di una città da sempre tollerante, e per scoprirsi sempre più aperti agli altri, ad altre idee di bello, ad altre possibilità.
Al termine di ogni percorso sarà chiesto a ogni artista di realizzare un racconto, con l’aiuto di tutti i partecipanti, che descriva il percorso fatto e che serva per comporre una guida insolita, alternativa e sorprendete delle città più belle al mondo.
We want to look at the cities, at their estate and at their life, in a new way, we want to do it going through them, with our bodies and our ideas. We would like to invite the citizens to walk with us, as a collective rite and an aesthetical practice, we want to do it calling out schools, associations and universities, to rebuild a common vision of our territory’s great wealth.
Every walk will be guided by a group of artists, writers, musicians and city experts, because this walk would like to help having new eyes, to look at the city, at its citizens, at its old and new traditions, in a different way, and discovering the “beauty” in unexpected places. We too often run through the city, going from a place to another thinking just about the fastest way to arrive where we want to arrive, without seeing the beautiful things during the way.
Nomicosecittà (“Namesthingscities”) wants that the participants reflect about the idea of “beauty” in a broader acceptation, in this way paying attention not only to the historical treasures of the cities but also to their more contemporary consequences. So, the walk through the city will become a journey through the centuries and the humanity history that is always the same and always in evolution, a motion between the different geographies of the city and the different nationalities that inhabit it, until noticing how numerous can be the ways to look at what man does, handmade products or events.
“Nomicosecittà” to be proud and aware of a tolerant city, and to be always more open to others, to other ideas of beauty, to other possibilities.
At the end of every walk every artist will be asked to write a story, with the help of all the participants, a story that describes the walk ant that will be used to make a unusual, alternative and surprising guide of the most beautiful cities of the world.
